Kenny’s News:

“I can’t wait until my next blog to tell you how much we enjoyed welcoming everyone to our Open Day on Sunday 30th July.

A steady stream of visitors enjoyed an afternoon of good company, tasty food, varied stalls and fun games for humans and dogs.

The BBQ sold out, the refreshments marquee was buzzing until all the snacks and cakes were gone, games and stalls were busy for hours and the Fun Dog Show had the highest attendance ever.

Old friendships were renewed and new bonds formed as ex-SESAW dogs were reunited with those who cared for them in their hour of need.

We had a little celebration afterwards to say thanks to Mum for 25 years of rescuing animals like me, Kenny (The Boss) Chihuahua.”

Henry, one of our hardworking Junior Volunteers, was happy to bring Kenny out to meet his public in his smart new coat. The day raised an amazing £4,650 thanks to all who supported this annual event, and to the hard working volunteers who made it all happen.
