It’s December already and everyone is rushing around with too much to do before Christmas. I’m glad you made time to read the blog because I want to send a great big THANK YOU to all our friends. We really appreciate the support you give us at events, your help at the Sanctuary and the kind donations you bring to SESAW.

The fundraising diary for next year is already filling up and new volunteers are always needed for the events and for animal care. Please leave a message on the ansaphone or email if you can spare a few hours one morning each week to look after some of the cats, dogs, rabbits, pigs and goodness knows what else. Same applies if you only have an occasional day to spare at, on or before events. Either way, the volunteers are a friendly bunch and will give you a warm welcome as you can see in the photo of Mandy, Michelle and young Henry, taking me to meet my public at the Christmas Fair.

Mum says we will not rehome during the holiday period but prospective owners are welcome to view the animals, 10am -1pm, Thursday to Sunday until Friday 22nd December. We will reopen 10am to 1pm for Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January and then back to our usual times 10am to 1pm Thursday to Sunday from 18th January.

Best wishes from all of us to all of you for Christmas and the New Year. I’m off to my bed by the Rayburn because it’s much too cold out there for me, Kenny (the Boss) Chihuahua.
