David Carr is the husband of one of our volunteers, and this year he’s once again entered the Prudential Cycle Ride 100 – London to Surrey.

Created as the Olympic legacy event, the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 gives 25,000 riders the chance to ride a 100-mile closed road circuit through London and Surrey, inspired by the 2012 Olympic Road Race.

The ride starts in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a route through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning country roads, including the famous climbs of Leith and Box Hill, before an iconic finish in central London.

Good luck David, and thank you – keep on cycling!
